Biomolecular mechanisms from integrated NMR spectroscopy
The Schanda group uses Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy, cryo-EM, molecular-dynamics simulations and a host of biophysical methods to gain an understanding of the molecular mechanisms the underlie protein function. Dynamics is essential for this comprehension, and our group develops novel NMR techniques, isotope labelling and computational tools to study systems of increasing size and complexity, including chaperones and large enzymatic assemblies.
